How corrections work here
An entry is corrected when it misstates the Regulation, cites a provision that does not support the point made, gives an application date without its qualifications, or falls behind an amendment to the acts or guidance it relies on. The correction is made in the entry itself, the entry's review date is moved to the date of the correction, and any change that alters what a reader would have understood is recorded in the log below. Minor typographical fixes are made without a log entry.
Flagging an error
The register has no public submissions channel or monitored mailbox at present, so there is currently no route for readers to send corrections in. That is stated openly rather than hidden behind a form that goes nowhere. When an editorial mailbox is enabled, it will be announced on the contact page, and this page will be updated to describe how to use it. In the meantime, entries are reviewed on the cycle described in the editorial policy, and each entry lists the events that trigger an earlier review.
Corrections log
October 2026 expansion review. During the legal review of the expanded guide library, a stale hides and leather example and an overbroad statement about updating declarations were found and corrected before the affected entries were published. Both are recorded here because the review record forms part of this site's editorial history.
22 October 2026. Two foundational pages first published on 4 October 2026, on country benchmarking and on supply-chain traceability, were expanded into full reviewed entries at the standard of the rest of the library, with legal status panels, review triggers and primary source lists. Their original publication dates are unchanged.
